My journey into the wellness space didn’t happen overnight. It is built on a lifetime of diverse experiences, starting with my time serving proudly as a U.S. Navy Dental Technician at the Naval Medical Center and Coronado Amphibious Base. That foundational experience in healthcare, discipline, and service left a lasting impact on how I view personal well-being.

After my service, my career took me across several different industries—from managing a grocery store in Ohio to navigating the insurance world and spending many successful years in outside sales. While the industries changed, my understanding of how important it is to stay sharp, focused, and healthy only grew.

My passion for wellness isn’t just theoretical; it is deeply personal. Over a period of years, I successfully navigated multiple diets and transformed my own health, dropping from 275 lbs down to 202 lbs. Through that hands-on experience of figuring out what truly works, I discovered the incredible impact of practical, no-nonsense nutrition. I became a strong advocate for the benefits of a 16:8 intermittent fasting schedule, the daily power of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) for cellular health, and the effectiveness of keto and carnivore-friendly eating habits.

I created Ray’s Healthy Hacks to cut through the confusing noise of the modern fitness industry and share straightforward, effective strategies that actually get results.
